On March 18, in Can Tho City, within the framework of the Project on Transforming the Rice Value Chain to Respond to Climate Change and Sustainable Development in the Mekong Delta (TRVC), the Netherlands Development Organization SNV coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MARD) and relevant units to organize the award ceremony for the first crop (summer-autumn crop 2024) for enterprises with achievements in implementing the TRVC Project.

In the first crop of the project, 8 enterprises were awarded based on the specific results achieved by each enterprise, with a total bonus of more than 3.18 billion VND. Specifically, the enterprises awarded by the Project Management Board include: Chon Chinh Import Export Company Limited, Vietnam Rice Company Limited, Trung An High-Tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company, Xuan Phuong Kien Giang Company Limited, ThaiBinh Seed Group Joint Stock Company, A An Food Joint Stock Company, Angimex - Kitoku Company Limited and King Green Food Joint Stock Company.

Chon Chinh Import Export Company Limited is the unit that has achieved the highest bonus amount, with more than 1.16 billion VND. The company registered to compete with an area of ​​more than 1,514 hectares, achieving an average greenhouse gas emission reduction of 6.57 tons of CO2/ha and an average profit of 68.41% for farmers.
